Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His tied-back hair is auburn. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Ortegar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her golden hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She tends to her Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bowyer for the past few years.
