She has worked as a Bookbinder like her father before her.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. His childhood dream was to be a Sage, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This younger middle-aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His yellow eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He got into the Bricklayer business at a young age. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Beast alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Ruler again.

Description: She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty violet coat over it. She has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to her abundance of muscles. Her chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she desires power and/or immortality
