History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. He has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Mogg enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mogg grew up listening to his father's many stories. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his absent father
