History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up whip and armor she uses now. After a long history of fighting, Joan and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She was born in the north. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. With bright black hair and a scraggly beard. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his whip, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His skin is flawless and his amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hobart grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
