History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Spear alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
