History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up work as a Dyer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He wears his silver hair down. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balam grew up listening to his mother's many stories. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
