History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a simple yellow robe with brown stripes complete with hood. Her hair is short and auburn. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Mary was born with her father's beautiful face. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: An older man who wears bulky green painted plate armor, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is unkempt and raggedy. He has gleaming, smiling black eyes.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Cairn abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.
