History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born in the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Matilda's homeland. Matilda decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Nora abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
