History: Cumpen was born the youngest of three triplets. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student he started as a Architect, but he got bored and became a Miller. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
