History: Trag was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Trag fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She is obsessed with her god.

History: River was born the youngest of three triplets. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. River grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did River. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Gilbert is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Gilbert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: Rolen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Fisher, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
