History: Marastyr lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her childhood dream was to be a Herbalist, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Guy enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
