History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His childhood dream was to be a Miner, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and balancing his hectic life and new barrister responsibilities is difficult

History: Leaf lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Leaf's homeland. Leaf decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
