She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hatae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Description: An older woman who wears skinny pants and wears a pastel and green robe with the hood down, she is not a threatening figure. Her Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Cloud liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She bought a kukri and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Mâku was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Description: This northern man is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His clothes are grease stained in places. His head has been shaved. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and half-elven compassion
