History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Tree took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to clean up the streets
