History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

History: Born in the south to a Map Maker, Helen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: She wants revenge against illithids; and she is unsatisfied with her job
