Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Theren embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Theren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Druid, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Druid in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Theren has worked very hard to control his curse. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A 6'2" southern man, he has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. His white hair is knotted and matted. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She prefers to wear flannel. Her chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and revenge

Description: She tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'1" when asserting herself. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion; and she desires power and/or immortality
