History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Kadana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Born in the north to a Gardener, Andraste learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Andraste alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
