History: Chem hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Duergath grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Miller and occasionally as a mercenary.
