History: Meriele hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Meriele was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Gardener, but he got bored and became a Merchant. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
