History: Mardred hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Her hair is long and white with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. Her fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Healer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tabaxi artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Being a Sage kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
