Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with music. He constantly tries to fill his life with music. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Born in the south to a Blacksmith, Zook learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and balancing his hectic life and new blacksmith responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Enidda is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Doctor, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and regain custody of her daughter

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
