Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Chem alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Pyra reached her early adolescence her Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
