History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Volen speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Volen does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Soapmaker arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
