History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Bellfounder, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

History: Gifted from a young age, Pearl studied abroad. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
