He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
