When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bounty Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Astaro fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Tatyan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. After a long history of fighting, Tatyan and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
