He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His brown hair is knotted and matted. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a great chef.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Layabout. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and a strong sense of loyalty to dragonborn people
