History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Fargas was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fargas's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brug was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spice Merchant. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Tricking's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her childhood dream was to be a Healer, but she was a colossal failure. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
