History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Purah began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a deep hatred of illithids

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Veloptima hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
