History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gray.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing painting.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion
