History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
