Description: This tall, slender woman wears a simple brown robe with white stripes complete with hood. Her auburn hair is unkempt and raggedy. Her amber eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oriff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He carries with him a set of scythes on his belt, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in the east to a Guard, Faran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she is renowned for her bright green dresses and hats. Her blue hair is braided into rings. Her gold eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
