He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
