History: Hobart was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Painter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and Nuraval does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich western family. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in club use. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Through the years after Gillyd was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Gillyd's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her writing dream.
