Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. History: She was born in the west. Surina was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Interpreter. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Elf, and stands approximately 5'11". He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and his gloved hand is found clutching a club. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ruler business.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: Standing 4'7", this woman sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. She keeps her long blonde hair kept up in a rat tail. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others.
