History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 13 years.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
