She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. History: Alston was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
