Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. History: She was born into a rich family. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Ella never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and many brigands want her driven away
