History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Uthemar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: Merla is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Merla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Dilettante, and she later adopted a second daughter.
