Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Naivara's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Naivara hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Naivara was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Chem never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shanairla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the west to a Junk Dealer, Shanairla learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign.
