History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. After a long history of fighting, Mara and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
