He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: The child of a Sculptor, who enjoyed hunting, Umpen was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Umpen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
