History: Shifting hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A gifted student he started as a Tanner, but he got bored and became a Slave Trader. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
