History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gilkass grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Koeth took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
