He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears many layers of old clothing at all times, and is pretty ugly. Her scarlet crest is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her red eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Mijira does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Mijira was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Mijira's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand her business
