He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Anselm was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Quarion grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Cartwright profession.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her childhood dream was to be a Cartwright, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Sailor.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
