History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and wants to open a new tavern
