Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Shifting was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering her clean studded leather. She wears a Stetson hat to cover her moderate length auburn hair. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To protect her home; and further expansion of business
