Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ella does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. A gifted student she started as a Barrister, but she got bored and became a Assassin. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
