History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. After coming to the age of reason, Shane took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She married young, but lost her spouse to illithids. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: Standing 3'3", this man is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather. He wears his black hair up. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Roondar abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
